This article is about how Al-Qaeda is gathering more leaders and troops and planning for the future. Al-Qaeda is formed in Mesopotamia land and there are many leaders and troops out there. The leaders that are in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, are still being held and still looking for answers from the prisoners. Mr.Mohammed was a college student in the United States, he got educated and he helped out the Hi-Jackers of 9-11 to get used to the American Society so they could fit in.
There are many facts in this article with people saying or the events that have happened. The opinion that i have found was a quote from The HEad Unit of the Bin Laden Tracking Unit, that Al-Qaeda is still “humming along” and they will come back. Even though Al-Qaeda were taking very long for each attack was a sign of weakness and failure in their missions.

This artile is about Al qaeda and how they are getting new generations of leaders that would want to attack. The new leaders have more expiercence in fighting, and are in their Mid 30’s. The article is saying that the new leaders can plan an attack anytime. And that American officals are trying to find, but still know little information.
I agree with the author, that the new Al Qaeda leaders could want to attack. Thats becasue they are more trained and have jmore expierence than the old Al Qaeda leaders. And the article also said that they havent attacked the U.S in a while, my opinion is that theyre waiting and could attack at any given time.

This is article is about Al qaeda and how he is getting a new generations of leaders. The United States think these new leaders are preparing to attack. They did some research and the new leaders are in their mid 30s and have a lot of fighting expiercence. The United States are trying to find more information.
I do agree with the authors opinion because I also believe that Al qaeda leaders want to attack the United States. They already have more expiercence in fighting and they are going to continue to become stronger. The article says that they haven’t attacked the U.S in a long time so they could attack us any moment and I’m afraid that we are not going to be ready.

This article is all about our enimies planning ahead for the future, and how they have planned for the future. The article gives the example of 9-11 and how prepared people like Al-Qaeda were, how they thought of everything from American education to fitting in to society. Osama bin Laden aparently has gathered a new set of leaders with him. Aparently he doesnt only have a new set of leaders but newe technology as well. He has a network of human couriers to aid him in evading electronic eavesdropping which make it difficult for the government to track them.
I agree with the author. Al-Qaeda’s new leaders could want to come and attack. Now they are better equiped have had better training and if they were smart enough they could of examined our whole government, military, and other organizations to search for “loop holes in the system”. The only factor that could be the waiting point on an attack could be a time.

This article is about Al Qaeda being rebuilt in Pakistan and new leaders have come together under Osama bin Laden. The United States focused on training camps in Pakistan and they think that they are planning an attack. They are in there mid-30s and have years of battlefield experience. The United States thought that Al Qaeda not attacking for a long time of period was a sign of weakness but, it wasn’t.
I agree with the author’s opinion. Since the Al Qaeda have leaders that are better trained, they can come and attack anytime. They are better and smarter so they can do another surprise attack or even much strong attacks. The only problem the United States have is finding out when they will attack us. If they keep investigating on the United States, they could even be more powerful then us.

This article explains about how a newer generation of Al-Qaida has formed. There are new people working under Osama Bin Laden, and he has also new technology with him. His technologies have helped him to hide better from the government.

I agree with the author. They could possibly attack again with new leaders and stuff. Especially since the US has been a target before, so it might be another attack from them.

The article “Qaeda is Seen as Restoring Leadership” was explaining how Al – Qaeda is forming a new generation. Al – Qaeda’s generation is about the new leaders, who are more expierenced, prepared to fight and attack. Some evidence about the article was about the nine eleven scene. The Al – Qaeda’s generation could actually attack and win because they are more expierenced and they have the knowledge about the attacks. The people are in their age when they probably know about the attacks and how they can get away.
I agree with Mr. Mazzetti because of course anybody could attack if they have the knowledge, the skills, and the plan! Al – Qaeda has the knowledge, the skills, and maybe the plan, so they could attack. Now that this article has informed us, there is no reason for the U.S to be unprepared. We should be ready at all times, we should be prepared at all times.

This article is about Al Qaeda becoming a new generation. They have new leaders that are more experienced and good at attacking others. They also have more advance technology now. Al Qaeda is stronger and ready to fight whoever starts a fight with them. They have better chances in winning.
I agree with the author because Al Qaeda can come attack anytime. Since they are more advanced and experienced, they are more confident in winning. They definitely have a chance. When they decide to attack, the US might not even be ready.

The article “Qaeda is Seen as Restoring Leadership” was emphasizing how Al – Qaeda is grouping a new league of operatives. This article is mainly about how new Al Qaeda leaders are forming because of the losses of others in past relations. It is also talking about alliances in the U.S and Pakistan plans to stop them. There are few Al Qaeda also in the U.S. Most importantly I think the author is trying to get across is that Al Qaeda is becoming stronger and stronger under our surveillance and that just because they are quiet that doesn’t mean they are weakening.
The author doesn’t really state or give clues of an opinion. It’s more like a formal article telling us of Al Qaeda and there business. I can point this out because through out the article he doesn’t really chose a side he just explains known information. He doesn’t have a conclusion to his facts.

This article deals with Al Qaeda and its leadership. The author writes about a new generation of leaders and way of operating that is emerging in Al Queda. It writes about how Al Qaeda does not function as one organization, instead it has many different leaders and networks of operation in seperate middle-eastern countries, which makes it harder to eavesdrop. It writes about of how Al Queda managed to succeed in its 9/11 attacks despite US managing to get ahold of many of its top ranking leaders beforehand. Its strategy is now to assimilate operatives into the country is plans to attack, making them appear as inconspicuous as possible, then have them carry out the attack.
The author did not put his own opinion into the article. It mostly constisted of findings of US intellegence and factual information about the organization and leadership of Al Queda. It had quotes, which were used to show knowledge of Al Queda and its operations from Officals and experts on the organization.

This article is about Al Qaeda building up people to plan their future attacks. There are new people working under osama bin laden and their are going to attack fiercly. The article showed 9-11 as an example of Al Qaeda’s capability. They are learning American education and how to fit in to society and stuff. Osama is building new leaders and has new technology also.
I agree with this article. I belive Al Qaeda will possibly attack in the future with new technology that we have not seen before. They have new leaders, new technology, training and everything. They already showed us what they could do in 9-11 and they possibly could do it again.

The article- “Qaeda Is Seen As Restoring Leadership”, By Mark Mazzetti Washington is all about Al Qaeda and how he has formed a new generation. He now has newer technologies. In the article, it talks about September 11th and how Al-Qaeda suceeded. It turns out that he formed new leaders. He have many people to help him hide from people tracking him down. They used new technology and gadets to hide him from the government. With so much new technology, people could do many new things.
I agree with the author’s opinons. With Al-Qaeda’s new leaders, they could go and attack us. And with there technology, it might be hard to fight and defend ourselves. Our enemies are better prepared for war. I think that we should make more and powerful technologies to protect the country. We should also train more people to fight and atttack. That way, if or when they come and attack, then we are also prepared. We have to be alert at any time of the day.

This is article is about Al- Qaeda and how he is forming a new generation of leaders. The United States thinks that they might be planning to attack. Research has been done and the research shows that the new leaders are in their 30’s and have experience already. But this isnt enough information so the united stated is trying to find out more to be more prepared in case of an attack.
I agree with the author because I believe that these new leaders are scheming an attack. If they already have experience and now they are thinking of new ways to attack they are getting even stronger . The article states that they havent attacked the United states in a long time so they could attack unsuspectably at any time they are ready and that wouldnt be good for the united states at all.

The article ”Qaeda is Seen as Restoring Leadership” is about Al Qaeda and how they are getting new generations of leaders and more troops to help them in the future. The new leaders that are working under Osama Bin Laden are very skilled fighters and they also have new technology to help them out. The new technology has helped Osama Bin Laden to hide better from the government. The United States is trying to find more information about these new leaders because they believe that they are planning to attack.
I agree with the authors opinion because Al-Qaeda’s new leaders would want to come and attack. They are better equiped and they have more experienced in fighting and they are going to continue to become stronger. The article says that they haven’t attacked the U.S in a long time so they could attack they United States at any given moment.

This article is about Al Qaedamaking plans against us later in the future, . The article uses 911 as an example and how prepared our enemies such as Al Qaeda and how they studied our society to attack us. The article staes that Osama bin Laden has gathered new leaders to lead with him. It also states that osama also aquired new technology as well. He has a network of human couriers to help him in evading electronic eavesdropping which make it difficult for the government to track them.
I agree with the authors opinion because Al Qaedas new leaders would be able to attack us without any problem. They are better equiped and they have more experienced in fighting and they are going to continue to become stronger as time goes by. The article states that they haven’t attacked the united states in a long time so they could attack they United States at any given moment.

This article is about how people can plan attacks at anytime and anywhere and how we are trying to find out and get the information before it actually happens. The people working under Bin Landen have new technology and things to help them out and get to us faster and not get caught while doing all of it.
I agree with the author because the leaders are more experienced and they are just going to continue and get stronger each day and with more technology that they get its going to become easier for them. Al-Qaeda has the knowledge and then can attack at anytime they want, and the US just might not be ready.

The article is about the ongoing war between the United States against Al-Qaeda a terrorist group. Who were responsible for the September 11th 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Whose leader Osama Bin Laden was responsible for master minding these attacks. He also escaped from Afghanistan through the mountains and is hiding in Pakistan. The article also states that alot of the old leadership of Al-Qaeda has been captured and killed, there is a new generation of leaders rising.
The author’s opinion is not present in the article, each statment refers to “as according to American inteligence and counter terrorism officials” saying that a new generation of leaders has emerged under Osama Bin Laden. The author also states American, European and Pakistani authorities have for months been piecing together a picture of the new leadership.

This article is referring to the possibility of future terrorist attacks. American intelligence has been researching for the past two years and are finding information about Al Qaeda having new leadership. Most of this article is about conclusions based on facts. No one is sure of who to look for and where to look for them to prevent the possible future attacks. This article is saying the American intelligence thought that they were winning the fight against Al Qaeda and terrorism by capturing many of the past leaders, but the people of Al Qaeda won’t give up they are trying to get new leaders so they can continue and/or finish what they have started

This article is about the possibilities of people planning attacks. The article expresses how Al Qaeda is gathering troops and thinking of many plans to help them in the future. People working with Osama Bin Laden are thinking of future attacks and also have new technology. The new technology is beneficial to them. Most things discussed in the article are effects of nine eleven.
I think the author’s opinion is stated in the article. I agree with the author because I believe that Al Qaeda wanted to attack the United States. As they grow stronger become more skilled and gain newer technology they probably would attack the US again.

This article is talking about how the terrorist, Al Qaeda, is trying to get more people to be on his side for future attacks. They feel that they will not quit until they succeed to what they are trying to do, while we Americans had thought we had finished it.
I agree with the author because as Al Qaeda gets more people to be with him, and as he gets more technology to help him attack, they can attack anytime, anywhere, without our knowledge of knowing it.

This Article is about the Al Qaeda’s unit getting new leaders for the future. Also about how they prepared an attack against the new Al Qaeda’s in training so they won’t take over the present Al Qaeda tribes. Osama bin Laden is one example they expressed insdie of the article. They show how on 9-11, the day the twin towers came down how ready and prepared they were to get what they wanted down.
they say that the Al Qaeda has not striken yet, but i believe that they will strike when they are fully prepared to enter. They will not enter knowing they might have a chance of not being successful. Also since there is new technology that the old Al Qaeda might not know about they might want to think twice and make sure that they are fully prepared to enter into the training camp.

This article discusses Al Qaeda, and terrorism. It says how Bin Laden is getting more people to be on his side, so he can become even more powerful, and lead a future attack on the U.S. Us Americans just want to finish this war, but until we have the leaders of this, it won’t stop. We known that Al Qaeda wants to come back, and get us again, so unless we don’t think ahead of them, or capture them we will have to keep on fighting.
I do agree with the author on his opinions towards this. We cannot allow Al Qaeda get more people, because the more training they get, and the more powerful they get the less chances we have on defeating them, if a future attack happens. It is also a downfall because of the fact that we don’t know where these training facilities, and these leaders can be found. The terrorists are getting smarter, and I agree with the author because we can get hit anytime.

This article is about how people can plan attacks at anytime and anywhere and how we are trying to find out and get the information on things before anything happens. The people working under Bin Landin have new technology and things to help them out while they are trying to catch us and they are tryin to come up with inventions that will not get them caught while their at it.
I agree with the author because their leaders are more experienced and they are just going to continue and get stronger everyday and with more technology that they get thier hands on its going to become easier for them to accomplish thier goal. Al-Qaeda has the knowledge and they can attack at anytime they would want and the US just might not be ready.

this article is mainly talks about the terrorist group-Al Qaeda is still lively and the leaders and the troop are gathering together in Mesopotamia and other places secretly. They are allied with Bin Laden. They are preparing new attacks in the future. Also, the terrorist are trying to get more and more people join them or support them. American offices want to find out the attacks but still know little about them.
I agree with the author because in the past years, the terrorist attacks never stop once. Since 9-11, the international anti-terrorism movement are working hard, so there are less terrorist attack in the United States, but i do believe the Al Qaeda is gathering secretly somewhere in the world and preparing a new attacks, the US probably will be attacked.(OMG!)

The article is about Al Qaeda becoming the leadership of an terrorist army. He tries to presuade other people into joining, so they can be trained and become a part of his army. If he succeeds, we might be doomed.
I agree with the author because America now is in chaos and is into war anymore. In other words, America is becoming weaker and weaker. We might not stand up to them in future attacks.

This Article is about how Al Qaeda is recruiting more troops and is becoming stronger by the second. Al Queda is also get more advanced then they were since the 9-11 attacks. They have new technolody, and new weapons that can be used against anybody at anytime.
I agree with the authors opinion. America isnt in a good state right now and it would be really easy to atack us when we are not ready since we are already in war. I also think that America should stop concentratin on making peace in Iraq and come to America to get trained to be ready for an attack that may come anytime.By The way America is now we may not be ready for the attacks of future more advanced Members Of Al Queda.

This article, “Qaeda is Seen as Restoring Leadership”, is informing us on how Al-Queda is gathering up a solely new crew of troops. They are coming out stonger, smarter, and more well-trained. They were said to be able to attack at anytime and that may be when America least expects it.
I think that although this is very hazardous and threatning for America, the U.S.A should always be alert and have strong, well-built troops in an army to fight back. America is more focused on peace-making, a plan that Bush will never be able to fully carry out, rather than building up a strong army of its own. America needs to start buckling down if it really wants to emphasize the caption “Home of the Brave”.

This article by Mark Mazzetti is about the United States in danger of being under attacked at any moment. We could be attack once again by Bin Laden and even attacked harder then the 9-11 tragedy. The article says that Bin Laden has skilled fighters with new technology working under him. They are now stronger then ever according to American intelligence and counter terrorism officials.
I agree with the authors opinion which was that they could attack the United states once again. I agree because if they attacked us before they could do it again, and now that they are more experienced and have more technology that just makes it even easier for them.

This article talks about how America is working to uncover terrorist acts. It talks about what people cause the most concern and where they can be found. It explains how some attackers that helped on September 11th were trained by Americans. Some people were taught and given weapons from America. Al Qaeda is still looking for leadership that Counterterrorism officials are working to stop as well as any future plans of attacks from Al Qaeda.
I do not think the author’s opinion is present in this article because it tells about how Al Qaeda is still planning attacks. Also it talks about how they are working to diminish them. The author never states how he feels about it and if he believes it is true or not.

Im not sure what this article is discussing exactly. I think the article “Many Plans, No News ” is camparing the outcomes of what could of been and what is with president’s disicions and way on handling situations. I think she is talking about this because the author keeps mentioning things that president clinton did or was going to do. Then the author mentions something the president bush did or was going to do. Bush’s attempts at delaing with situations in America has only seemed to make things worst because as the article states “But by not endorsing the Clinton parameters, we are back with plans that are much worse.”
In my eyes that means Bush will do anything to solve a problem as long as it does not resort to using a peace treaty. I think the opinion the author is trying to get across is that Clinton makes a better president. If that so i think the authors opinion is present in the article. The Author Gives detail about Clinton that can increase his image but gives information about Bush that makes you not want to vote for him again. Such as, is four times more Israelis and Palestinians died fighting each other during the “realistic,” “pro-Israel,” sideline-sitting Bush years of 2001 to 2005 than in the “naïve” (in this case they were talking about clinton) decade of intense U.S. peacemaking, dominated by President Clinton — from Madrid to Oslo, 1991 to 2000.

This article “Qaeda is Seen as Restoring Leadership” is about how Al Queda is getting and gathering a new crew of troops. The troops are becoming more strong and are being well trained. They are smarter and can fight back to anybody that starts to fight with them. Now with the new technology and forces they have better chances of winning.
I agree with the author because they are now much better. They have better technology and are stronger in many ways. America is slowly becoming weaker and we might not see it but they can attack at any time or point. If we are not ready for this we may not be able to stand up in future unknown attacks. America needs to get focused and get ready for whatever happens.

The article, “Qaeda is Seen as Restoring Leadership”, is about the newly forming Al Qaeda leaders which may or may not be of relation to Osama Bin Laden. It is unsure if these leaders are connected or each hold their own share of orders and own controlled regime. The article states that ever since the attack of 9-11, Al Qaeda hasn’t showed much agreggesion or action but inside is working and planning on future attacks. All in all, America isn’t the only country that should be aware of future Al Qaeda attacks. because the newly emerging leaders can surprisingly strike any day now.
I don’t think it is possible to say that the author expresses his opinion in this article, because he quotes what other officials and leaders say. He doesn’t really express his say on this topic. An example would be:
“To say that Al Qaeda was out of business simply because they have not attacked in the U.S. is whistling past the graveyard,” said Michael Scheuer, a former head of the bin Laden tracking unit at the C.I.A. This expresses Michael Scheuer’s opinion but not the author’s. The author is only informing the reader with factual information.

This article states the Al Qaeda is recieving new generations of leaders that may have the thought of forming new attacks. Their new generation seems to have more experience in wars and might be a better advantage to the Mesopatamian land. Bin laden has new weapons and new technology and also new fighters. The United States is trying to find out more information because they need to kno if they will attack and how they will attack back.
I agree with the authors opinion because it states that the Al Qaeda’s new generation leaders want to attack. Why else would they need advanced leaders who has much knowledge and experiance with wars and fighting? They studied our government and the way we operate and can recieve all the information they need to take us down. SO the US needs to be prepared for anything and expect the unexpected.
